Convert gemstones

I can't find how to do it, or on forum so I guess I suggest --
I would like to be able to convert diamonds to ruby (say at a 3-to-1 ratio i.e.)
additionally, It would be nice to be able to upgrade a full stack of gems with one go instead of spamclicking (though this is of less concern to me)

Yes, CD or XP, please. Worst case, just make Diamond provide a % Movement Speed when socketed in gear (up to your desired maximum for any character).
Anything would be more useful than its current state.

With where the game is, having so many high level characters at the top boosted by custom gears, I think XP might make more sense now. Especially as it would significantly reduce the grind per CL, reducing some of the tedium. Not that it matters that much for me - I wasn't even motivated to grind out the bonus days for ANB3. But for those who are still grinding, changing Diamonds to +XP would be a great help.

Another possibility is to combine three same coloured gem for an enhanced version of the same OR combine three different gems to provide a unique functionality gem.
