Glowing / shimmering weapons in inventory

This is annoying and cartoonish to me. Any way to turn it off? I used the menu option already, but everything shimmers.

It bugs me a lot too and there's no way I found to turn it off. I have no idea why an inventory view needs animations.

Things in the HomeTown glow too. Devs must love neon lights of Vegas.

Yep, please add a "Glow Effect" toggle so those that want to can turn it off - or include disabling it in the Visual Effect dial, previously requested. Anything that reduces the load on GPU would help...
