    Redesign of leaderboards

Leaderboards are important parts of the game and that is one of the main motivations for high-level players to keep playing. However, there are still some areas that could be improved.

    1. The location of current leaderboards are very counter-intuitive. If you want to see the leaderboard for all classes, you must exit to main menu, browser the menu to see it. If you want to see the leaderboard for your hero class, you must enter hometown, go to the gate and click on trial tab. Is there any logic reason for this ridiculous location of leaderboards? For example, you can have them together in a single window, just different tabs for the common and specific hero classes.

    2. The high record of each player should be expired after certain period, let's say 30 days. Some players may be against that changes, nobody want his name to be removed from the leaderboards. However, that will motivate people to continue playing, push them to go to trial to repeat his past records and go higher. If a person still plays actively, but for some reasons he does not create higher record for the expiring period (e.g. busy with farming, play another hero), the accumulated XP and resources should help him to set new record without big problem. If the person does not play actively, just doing daily quests, that will motivate him to be more active to keep his name in leaderboard.

Some notification should be needed to remind players. For example, before expiration, send an in-game mail to player something like that "Your past record, hero name XX trial level YY time ZZ will be expired after 7 days. Please go to trial and set new record to keep your name in the leaderboard". If no new record set, after expiration, send another mail "Your record has been expired. Please go to trial to set new record".

I hope that can help to improve the game.

Actually, there should be Seasonal Resets (if I understand correctly) that renew the leaderboard rank...but so far nothing like this happened.

On the other hand, if players can't better some other player's months-old record, don't they deserve to be ranked lower?

If there's some substantial change that changes the difficulty of trials, it's worth considering, as are separate "seasons". But erasing all-time lists just to stroke the egos of more current players...I would hope not.

I agree with number 1. Maybe put a board structure in town just like the 'Friends board' to make it more easily accessible for players in town.

Also, to be fair to the older players, we should immortalise the old Leaderboard. And possibly start a Seasonal Leaderboard which runs every 6 months (for example) which will then be immortalised and a reset done for the next season. This would give the new and active players a chance to compete and make it to the top of the current Leaderboard.

Also, maybe keep the top 100 Leaderboard for each class in every ANB to motivate and encourage players to participate.

Thank for comments. My thoughts are to motivate old players to continue playing, not to make advantages for new players. Seasons are too long time, the objective is to push every players to try few trials per month.

One of possible (and maybe the simplest) solutions is to keep expired records in the leaderboards, just to gray out them. That means that the new players will not get higher, the old players are still named. Old players can refresh the expired records if they want to.

Another solution is separate leaderboards for "All time", "Last month".

Sounds like a "Hall of Fame" - I like it.
