    A solution for Celestial essence crisis

    As the CE crisis continue, I would like to make some proposals for its solutions:

    1. Make CE common, can be obtained from drops or bought from shops (like Marks of Titan). Is there any reason to keep Celestial exclusive when some players have already many of them, and mainly that you can think out a new type of exclusive gears for rewards (see number 3).

    2. Limit the number of Celestial gears that a hero can wear at the same time (e.g. max. 2 or 4 Celestial pieces). By this limitation, the players who have hundreds CEs will have no real advantages against the players who get only few CEs from salvaging.

    3. Think out a new type of exclusive gears for event rewards, e.g. 6 attributes or critical damage instead of vitality. The age of Celestial is over, let's welcome a new age.

    Please do not try to punish players who (intentionally or not) have farmed CEs, they have to invest times and gems to do it, and there are many innocents among them. Let's solve the crisis in peaceful way, like the proposals above. Mainly proposal #2 can be applied easily, without disruption and making angers among players.

    Unfortunately the only fair way would be to remove all those farmed CEs and refund gems spend opening chests. That's not gonna happen cause they decided to push out live version instead of going into beta. Can't come up with a possible solution everyone would be happy with.

    As much as i like some of the ideas brought up again by you, im not expecting big changes like that to happen... At least not for season 1.

      What about the CE that have been crafted to CT and applied? We can check the leaderboard to see how many 70+ celestial gears are there.

      We cannot make everyone happy but we can try to make more happy people than unhappy. We all want fairness, but instead of taking somethings from some people, we can try to give similar things to other. Removing/refunding make more works for developers, more unhappy people, when making CE common will cost virtually nothing, even more happy players.

        Making them a common drop (even as common as in 1.4.11) is probably too much. But I agree they SHOULD be attainable under regular gameplay conditions - perhaps a very small chance to show in locked chests, a minuscule drop chance from story mode bosses, a better chance at higher TLs, perhaps even as high as 1-2% above TL100.
        And a buying option at consumables vendor could be done, but it would have to be expensive. Perhaps they could add a [50% chance] 0-1 Celestial Essence to the contents of the existing 2500-Gem crate?

          seriously doubt anything will be done at this point... seems like they think not many are abusing this, judging from d's response lol

          would guess they will just watch for people with lots of +70 celestials, spot inspect ther account, and decide how to handle them from a point to point basis.. or do nothing at all lol easier to just dismiss any claims and convince peoples its fine, than to actually fix this... stay silent long enough and life will go on 1way or another, just ask my ex lmao

                  Similar thing happened in relatively recently, and that was the devs' "resolution". Ignore it and eventually people will stop complaining about it.
                  The older players remember, but hey, as long as we get more new players in than the number of dedicated players who get fed up and quit the game, then it's not a problem.
                  I'm assuming that the Dev was wrong.

                    There’s usually one or two sacrificial lambs that get banned every so often. People that are a known entity in the community like Nekromant. Then it LOOKS like action is being taken against “cheaters and hackers”. The last couple ANB events proved that the real problem is alive and well. Willy is still around here somewhere. Lots of foxes still in the henhouse, it would appear.

                      In my humble opinion, it's time Celestial Items become part of the normal game system and not some exclusive reward. 5-attribute gear/jewelry is needed anyway and normalizing Celestials, like Alicia suggested, would breathe new life into the game! Restrictions only remind me of middle ages, when knowledge/education was forbidden to masses and kept only for "upper classes" Game is evolving and as it should be, congratulations to the developers.                         People have full sets of L70 c-items from previous ANBs. What about them?

                        May be they are thinking about same.


                        There is nothing the devs can do to solve the problem (of unfairly gained CEs) without pissing off a lot of legitimate players.

                        Option 1: Roll Back
                        A lot of people who pushed hard for season 1 will be pissed

                        Option 2: Remove all CE and C-items above L70
                        People had quiet a few useless C-items (DRs/ HS) which they have scrapped to gain (legitimate) CEs. Will be pissed

                        Option 3: Remove CEs allowing a maximum of 'n' number of em
                        Some of us "bought" CEs for gems (from chests). Taking away CEs is taking away gems.

                        Also If some already converted CEs ti CT, some didn't, a some even used CTs, which most probably will be the case, it makes things complicated.

                          The purpose of C-items were already destroyed with the CE bug. Any solution to restore its original purpose is painful. So let them common.

                          With 71+ items from crafting/drops, and CEs become common, anyone can craft 71+ C-items now. The lvl 70 C-items become obsolete very soon, if not already.

                              If a player have only few (2-4) lvl 70 C-items, then the limit does not effect them. If a player have more than 6 C-items, I don't think they are low-level anymore. Crafting lvl 75 items are difficult but lvl 71 not, with ML50, nearly every second crafted item is 71+. That limit (proposal #2) can be applied or not, independent from other proposals (#1 and #3).

                              I proposed the limit as one of possible solutions to restrict that every player will have perfect full-celestial gears once CEs become common. They have to think twice which items will be celestial and which not, making COs still meaningful. Furthermore, at the moment DPS stats are already preferred in comparison with defending ones, full C-gears add 810 Vitality more and make defending stats useless (except defense warriors).
