Is it just me, or is cheating rife in eternium?

I have been playing this for a while now a good couple of years and it has taken me a while to equip myself with high level items, yet when playing the latest anb levels I noted how quickly the top ranked players had in excess of 2000 in the champion levels with very little in the way of weaponary or damage stats, how is this possible aside from using a hack.

You might find most are dual classing using something like warrior to build experience in championship levels and then deleting that character and taking the points to their push character. The Devs are pretty tight on cheating so I would suggest this reason more than any other.

Agreed. And many are not afraid to spend gems and money to be on top of the pile, either.

In Bronze #20 I reached CL 1980 using 8h45 of event time, with a Hunter, spending only 240 Gems. My final rank was #17 in the Master Leaderboard.

im not so sure, while i have only played the game for i kid you not, 45 days. i too can easily reach 2k+ champion level in an ANB with minimal gem usage, but heres where im finding drastic issues.
trial 150~ players with maybe 100k toughness AT MOST, 0 dodge rating, 0 deaths, which just seems improbable. sure ive had great runs but this becomes basically impossible on certain bosses and even mobs. this is the impracticality im seeing. and im seeing it in the current event where you cannot craft at all. im currently rank 30th and sure i have 7 hours of gameplay left, but some of these instances seem odd especially looking at their builds. its nonsense.
