I'd definitely like to see this too. As previously stated I think the best bet would be drop a level so 1 brilliant > 1 trillion > 1 teardrop, etc. And even if the outcome is random it would still be useful, though couldmake a new tab , like the jewellery tab, specifically for transmog and sell items in the store for gold to specify what gem come out, or use a rough gem of the specified kind to create the one you want so that say 1 brilliant amethyst + 1 rough ruby = 1 trillion ruby.
