Hacking is common, but it gets your account flagged and barred from multiplayer features (including leaderboards).

Hacking is cheating the same way a square is a rectangle (but not vice-versa). That said, discussing cheating or hacking openly on the forum is not a good idea.
I was just wondering which was more common because that would give me an idea of Eternium's overall security. A discussion of specific methods was not my intent.

Really? Because it seemed to me like you were defining words as if I don't know what they mean, and then didn't say which of the two is more common.

I got the "time discrepancy" notice once when I left my game paused for a while during a Trial, so it seems like the devs covered their bases in terms of security. High marks there.

Since he got removed from all LB,I think all he got as a reward is a account ban.
    it was a dry joke....
    here is your gems! deleted.

in fact it would even be funnier if the process actually did that...mail showing gems, a thanks from the devs...and it pops up: "now deleting your account"

No c-box gear. No L-box gear. No gear from any event....
and a CL about 1000 higher than most people...then they are sitting what is really far down the LB for that CL.....just....*sigh*

if you are gonna cheat do it right....
