That page is where I learned how to wsreset, re-install, and re-register the store. Tried everything in there.

Yeah, that's why I have been mostly just hoping for a simpler fix, if I happened to come across one. Was half expecting to have to re-install windows. I'm gonna have to wait till I build a new pc. I'm too lazy to back up/ re-install my games and what not, just for this. I'll stick with mobile till then.

Thanks for the link. Looks pretty useful. Sure to come in handy in the future. Also, thanks for trying to help!

    • Did another sfc scan. This time, the scan came up reporting some corrupt files, which it then fixed.
    • Reset (both the settings button and the command line), re-installed, and re-registered the store, and the store still crashes. :\
The only thing from the store, that used to work, was an app that is basically a db of episodes from a show, with a player included. Now this app crashes on launch too, unsurprisingly.
It seems that your Windows is broken... LOL...

The only thing left for you to do now is to reset your Windows... backup your important files in my document and select keep your files when you reset it... more info here... it's for both Windows 8/10... https://www.howtogeek.com/132428/eve...-windows-8-pc/

open command prompt and run "sfc /scannow" to check your filesystem... maybe you got corrupted system file... and click check for updates in windows store... it has a new windows store app update yesterday... also install all additional updates listed in windows updates...

Oh, you didn't have to, man. Thanks, though! I tried another windows store game yesterday and got the same result.

But still, I made a breakthrough this time — I ended up breaking my Skype somehow and had to re-install it, and it kept crashing on launch, just like eternium! I had forgotten that I originally got my Skype from the website and not from the windows store. So, I guess it's a windows store issue and not specific to this game.

succeed when down grade window!!!! [with the help of pc fanatic friends. i dunno how they do it (downgrade). But they did]

window 10 looks good with the Xbox..

but for low end pc gaming...only for a moment

Have done the game re-install and the windows store reset a number of times. I'll try the other steps you mentioned.

why not? if you got Win8/10 you can install the game from Windows Store... Win7 and below have to use emulator but it's not going to perform any good I think... :-/
