Does anyone know the rate at which the gain from ability rate slows down as you increase it? I am specifically wondering how much would be needed to get 56% cooldown reduction from ability rate alone, and if it is possible with max level equipment, as well as emblem of ascendance.

Cooldown reduction = AR / ( 2xAR + 1500 )

56% needs a LOT, 10,000 is 46.5% - or you can have 3 Xagans, then give a direct 10% each, so only need 26% yourself, which is at 850 AR

Max lvl 80 AR is 160 per item, so that's 2080, if maxed Jewelries, then that's 301 each, so another 903. Synergy boost of 90, CL is 400, lvl12 skill gives 170 == 3643 = about 41.4%
Didn't count enchantments and gemstones... but yeah, still a fair way off, so need Xagan...

Because of the equation, 50% (or more) from AR alone is impossible

The graph of that equation shows that it never reaches 50% when x is positive. the only way to make x negative would be to overflow the integer limit, but that's probably too high to be possible. the 56% target goal was in order to reach 86% with xagan, so that solution doesn't work. It could work if they did a 12 bit integer limit, but that would then break for multiple other stats.
