If all your skills are at Level 10 does this still add +2 levels or is 10 still the maximum and you get no benefit from it?

Though it makes my skills 12, is it still worth keeping as opposed to to any of the unique trinkets?

Depends on your build and progress... some build can take advantage of the extra damage/boost from the increased levels. Although the most important use may be more while you're still leveling up your Skills in ANB for example - Warrior and Mage have some Skills that provides special bonuses at particular level, getting these 2 levels earlier helps. Once all Skills are maxed, then it depends on whether you'll get more use out of the others or not...
