I think this happened to me in the Bronze ANB. My recorded trial in the leaderboard is from Sunday morning. My tablet let me continue climbing so I assumed all was well. In the end I would get the same badges whether my Sunday evening climb is counted or not.

Does the game in any way tell me "That trial didn't count for the leaderboard. Try again.' Or do I have to check my position on the leaderboard after every trial?

To be fair, in all the ANB events through the years this is the only time I've lost progress.

In order to prevent exploitation, you must remain connected to the server (online) throughout a Trial run for it to post to the leaderboards. Any sort of network hiccup resulting in even a single packet being dropped during a run invalidates the run. When this happens, you need to complete your latest Trial again with a more stable network connection.

Hello.

Trials 196, 197, 198 were taken. But I still have 195 trials on the leaderboard.
When playing via the mobile Internet, trials do not count towards the leaderboard.
Everything is fine via WiFi.
