Selling items to Mitzu

Are the things that you sell to mitsu no longer allowed to carry over when you switch characters?
I haven't been following the announcements and bug reports lately and I only searched a little bit for this one so I apologize if I missed it.

Yours is the first report I've seen. Are you seeing this with all heroes, or just between event and standard heroes?

To clarify, if you sell something to Mitzu with an event hero, then end the event, the buyback section is cleared out. This is intended.
