Hello.
My setup:
- An Android 10 tablet
- An Android 10 phone
Both are rooted to prevent ads and other privacy breaches.
- The Google Play version is kept up to date.
- All updates and app installations go smoothly, well, almost...
- All in-app purchases work, well, almost...
- My purchases with Eternium Shop are fine.
- My purchases with the Amazon App Store are fine.
To summarize my experience:
- Over a year ago, the game Eternium, from the Google Play Store, started crashing on startup following a game update. I found a workaround by installing the game from the Amazon App Store.
- A few weeks ago, I learned that the Amazon App Store would be shut down on August 20, 2025.
- To anticipate this, I switched back to the official Google Play version, after uninstalling the Amazon one.
- The game works, great, but:
1- The Play Store app doesn't show me updates or offer to do so. I have to manually uninstall Eternium each time and then reinstall it.
After each successful installation, I receive an alert from the Play Store saying it's impossible to install the game ( ??? ), this even if it's installed correctly.
And recently, I've had a new problem:
2- When I try to make an in-app purchase, I get an error message saying that this version of the app isn't configured to work with Google's billing services. So, I can't buy anything from the Google-based game.
These two issues affect both of my devices.
I think all this history can be found in my transaction archive, with more precise dates. [ LECE CADU NAVU 1051 ]
I've currently reverted to the Amazon version. Because to purchase the Galactic Offer, which is not available on the Eternium Shop, it was the only solution.
That's why I'm coming back to you to find a solution and get the Google version of Eternium working perfectly.
Again, i have no problem with all other apps.
I tried too :
- Resetting the google play app and google play services app by clearing caches and datas and rebooting.
- Remove all amazon apps to avoid conflicts.
Thank you for your support.
Sincerly.
