Ephemeral boxes will be available during StL.

this is sad... will there be set items in the boxes to choose from? Then most players will play with these set items.... not what was expected...

Any chance to get the in-game event announcement earlier than later? Kinda stinks to only see the announcement minutes before the event begins.

Having the announcement so that players will be able to see the milestone rewards will answer many questions and allow for planning.

Will we still be able to sell dropped gear for gold?

I would like to be able to salvage material in StL, even if I can't craft. It's quicker than selling items for a few gold, and can help to achieve some of the Season Bounties. More importantly if I had only a few Marks of the Oracle I would not like to have to sale a Legacy item instead of salvaging it.

(Edit: Legacy items could be stored until the event end, and salvaged after transfer. That still is not optimal because of the "Collect 10 Mark of the Oracles" (sic) Season Bounty.)

How long will the event last?

What is the "Survive the Land" event?

• This event is our adaptation of the community-run "Live off the Land" event. StL events work the same as New Beginning (ANB) events...with a twist - there is NO crafting! Morgan, Liana, and Ingrid have gone fishing, so it's up to you to FIND your gear!
  • Create a new hero and progress as far as possible during the event.
  • Experience is boosted by 50%.
  • All crafting is turned off.
  • Items, resources, Champion experience, and unclaimed rewards will be transferred to your main heroes when the event ends.
  • Some items received through milestone rewards are ephemeral. Ephemeral items expire when the event ends. Ephemeral items transformed into Celestials (by using Celestial Transforms) can be kept after the event ends.
  • Medals from previous events are disabled.

How long does the event last?

• You will have 12 hours of play time to use during the 10-day event.

Can I still salvage gear for mats to bring back to my main?

• Yes.

What am I supposed to do with the crafting materials I find during the event?

• Crafting mats will not drop during StL events.

How am I supposed to get jewelry if I can't craft?

• Jewelry is added to the drop table during StL events. It can also be found in loot chests!

There's no way I'm going to get as far as I usually do during ANB events. How am I going to get any medals or other rank rewards?

• Everyone is in the same boat! You won't get as far as you usually do, but neither will anyone else. This event focuses on the fun of finding drops and your skill as a player.
