Gameplay bug where movement doesn't stop when holding after lifting finger

Current situation (bug):

Whenever I tap and hold my finger for movement it used to move my character to the last spot I had my finger on when I lifted it. Now when I lift my finger the character keeps moving forward and doesn't stop until I tap the screen again. If I don't tap the screen again I can't cast spells because the game thinks I am still holding my finger down for movement so the drawing of spells doesn't work.

Expected situation (working):

What used to happen was that the character wouldn't continuously move when I lift my finger when holding to move.

Steps reproduce the bug:
1. Tap and hold on a location you want to move to
2. Hold for a little bit (may or may not be required)
3. Then let go
4. To stop it tap anywhere

iPad Pro just updated to The latest version of the game. I can only tap to move now. Holding down the tap triggers double tap and nonstop running even if I let go of the tap/hold. Sometimes I can’t get out of the constant running either and have to crash the game and go back in. Regular single taps work fine to move. Please fix asap ty

Same here after recent update on iPhone 14 game is unplayable, was thinking that got a fault on a phone but not used old iPhone 6+ and after update same happened now not possible to play game just wasted XP buster?
