Play offline

Hi all, is there a way to play Eternium offline? Completely offline / single player?

I have been playing with Eternium for a bit, and really enjoyed the fact that this is a mobile game, it's a breath of fresh air compared to many others I have tried.

Recently I found myself on a long haul flight, a very long haul flight, and planned to exclusively use up my time sitting in an oversized aerosol can with wings playing the game on my phone

I found a huge issue. Shortly in to my gaming, I realised I couldn't open in game rewards due to an internet connection being needed. I couldn't craft things, and a number of things popped up that I couldn't do. I could play, there weren't anything affecting the campaign or maps, but, everying was trapped behind a 'connection needed' thing. It obviously meant I had to abandon my gaming pleasure and watch in-air entertainment instead.

Is this the way it is, or is there something I missed? I remember being able to do things 'offline' when I started playing, but never remember needing an open active internet connection to open in game rewards before.... Any help here would be appreciated!

Nope, a lot of things are disabled due to cheat detection checks. You're pretty much limitted to just playing Story maps or Trials.

Skills upgrades (timer will continue for those you started previously, but can't claim until you're back online.

You can craft Rares or lower, or Epic/Legendary under level 60 with no internet connect.

The Season bounties has always required active connection. And Calendar rewards recently needed to check your "registeted for emails" setting with Making Fun's database, hence the need for active connection.
