iOS Can’t play event hero

I get the message that I cannot play my event hero while offline or the vent has ended in either the story or the trial. As neither has occurred, and restarting didn’t work, the clock is ticking

Keep in mind that each tier of the event has 2 timers:

• The play timer, which is how much time you have to actively play with your event hero.
• The event timer, which is how long you have to use your play time.

For example, the Bronze event runs for 10 days and each player is given 12 hours of play time. You can use your play time however you wish over those 10 days. The event ends when one of the timers expires. In other words, if you play your event hero for 12 hours on the first day of the event, then the event is over for you, even though the event timer may still have 9 days remaining.

When I try to enter the event or trial, I can’t; I get the message that event heroes can’t play while offline or if the event has ended. Given that I am streaming live German TV and the event hasn’t ended something is wrong. I’ve restarted my machine and logged out and back in with no luck. It has been over 2 hours. If you can’t fix this, I understand, but I would like a refund for all of the money I spent on the ANB event.

Sounds like you used up all your event timer already...

Bronze ANB has a 12 hours gameplay time limit - this is the amount of time spent in a story or trial map, you can see it in the event page or at the bottom of your screen.
