To Bag or not to Bag: how do I craft a lvl77 item?

Gold is also kept. You should really compare an ANB hero with a "new account with 1 hero slot". If you delete the hero and create a new one, all things in stash, crafting materials, gold etc are kept, as well as Champion Levels. Everything in the hero inventory or equipped gear disappears.

kurtcabage Thanks for sharing your experience. This is a great strategy! I always feel like my ANB crafting luck is over once I craft a level 77 piece. I usually get one level 76 and one level 77 in the first 30-40 crafts, then I sometimes just try for another level 75 piece but mostly I just grind XP and wait to push. I new have crafted over 64 items to open a new bag. Now I know that I can craft another hero to start a new bag. Sounds like you can stash what you want to keep like gear and gemstones in the ANB account for the next hero. Do you lose the Gold or does that stay in the account?

Those who complain that having a hard time crafting a level 77 gear or two in ANBs can confirm this by just making a list of their crafting activities during the event. You'll be able to learn to adapt, predict and utilize your crafting materials, gold and even gems by doing so.

Ozymandius last time my strategy was :
1st toon :
- i create a toon, lvl up to 70, farm a bunch of golds on DC (around 16M gold), craft EXP gear with mix epic and legs, push TL until 110 to get 2 CTs, going back to TL100 to farm EXP and mats until 30 minutes left on the "Gameplay timer", then i craft my first 77s in like 18 or 20 craft (i forgot), then put all my stuff (that i want to bring to 2nd toon) to stash, sell all my push gear after remove the socket, then finally delete the toon.

2nd toon :
- create a new toon, lvl up to 70 was easy because i already got CL1900+, then craft 2nd 77s, apply both CTs to each 77s. and done

you may already know how to do it, but i just want to share my exp

Man, I really hope my late 77 craft streak ends tomorrow. As I implied in my post, I've gotten 2nd half bag 77's in 5 straight ANB's with my BH, and 7 of 8, if including the other account. In the gambler's fallacy I place my faith to provide me the chance to try this lol

Ozymandius yes, that's the trick that i use to craft 2 77s last ANB, 1 toon to craft 1 77s within 32kraft "bag" then delete that toon, created a new one then craft another 77s in the 2nd 32kraft "bag"

and from this point i am start to thinking that maybe this is the way that how the "Top leaderboard" player manage to craft more than 5 77s in 1 ANB.
but yeah, in their case they also spend a lot lot of gems to do that.

But if you craft a level 77 early on, you have plenty of time to delete the original character and start a new one with a brand new bag. That explains the multiple level 77 pieces that I have seen in ANBs. Strategy seems to be run your original character until you craft a level 77, then start a new character to craft the next level 77 piece, etc...

I couldn't agree more. No level 77 will be as predictable as the one in your first bag, even though it can still be a crapshoot Looking at all those 1st overall crafts cracks me up. 11 of 12 times, I've been able to craft at least one of each of the requisite items, before having to focus on identifying the 77. These results just show how influenced my actions are by confirmation bias, and how risky my "reliable method" is, given a protracted quantity of results over time. In all fairness I admitted as much, given my limited data pool. However I'm not going to start ignoring the train that brought me to predicting and choosing 10 of the last 12 level 77's I've made. If it's ALL luck, then I'm all in, lol.
