Dead wood Splinters

I (Meat id XIWU GELU DEFU 5379) have 13 Dead wood splinters in my inventory. I can't drop them and there isn't a quest available so I can collect the rest. Also, I have waited several weeks for the quest to come up again but it has not appeared in the rotation. Can you remove them from my inventory please ?

The quest will come around again and when it does, the splinters will go away, especially if you complete the quest with the hero who has them. Another solution is to hand the splinters off to a hero you plan to delete.

I reallly wish the dailies were on a rotating system rather than random. This would eliminate having to wait weeks for a quest to come up again and also we wouldn't get the same quest nearly every day which gets tedious.

Even better than random would be to just allow me select five from the list of quests each day.
