Looks like you need to install the official version of the game first, then you'll get the option to opt-in for beta and can update to it.

I checked on my wife's phone, there's no option for joining beta if the game is not installed.

Mainly so I know what to retest, I think a number of old things in the "Bug Reports" forum have been fixed by now, but unless we know about it, they'll hang around until it's tested again by someone - who also then searched the entire forum and post in that report (Yeah, I know, so much for me saying I have no time to play, it fluctuates...)

Exactly, they certainly fixed more than promotion event in .113.
Anyways, is not it better for Liana-Daniela (QA Specialist) to do this? Like, she is here for anything to do with bug hunting. Adrian can co better with his time when it comes to development.

I've been playing Ironbound on PC with my Eternium credentials, since the Android version has flickering graphics and a host of text missing throughout--basically unplayable on that platform. The PC version runs beautifully, without a hitch; and I've been kicking tail and taking names since I installed the game. I've basically completed all the milestones in the deal, but Eternium isn't registering any of my grand accomplishments, the icon keeps blinking, mocking me and my Assassin's reign of poison and stabbity-ness.

I have screenshot proof of my rankings, and the AI practice progress (I'm all the way to the expert level, stuck on the Crusader), but vBulletin keeps giving me an error when I try to post the message with the images attached. Rating 1532, Position 130, Rank Gladiator--I can make these available if needed, so you know I'm not just blowin' smoke...or something.

So I guess I just want to find out how to get Eternium to register that, yes, indeed, I have accomplished all the milestones, and pretty please give me my goodies. I worked hard at all my Assassin stabbity-boo. It's verified version 1.2.113, and I've already tried the force close, dump cache/data, uninstall, reinstall, and allow all the updates to load when tapping on the first mission--no joy there, unfortunately.

Any info, or other esoteric tablet Android voodoo that I could try would be appreciated. All those prezzies so close and yet so frazzin' razzin' far...

I just completed them, but found that the progress doesn't update until I open up the rewards page in Eternium. Looks like the progress update request isn't done until you open it, which kinda make sense, no point doing it all the time.


On a side note, since no one's posted it yet, here's the Ironbound cape from the event:

The stats are the same as the existing promotional one (just ordered differently), but the icon looks better, although I like the "glossy" effect of the promotional one better

We've released 1.2.104 in beta on Android.
It includes a cross-promotion event for Ironbound. The event starts anytime a player reaches level 10 and lasts for 2 weeks.
Besides other minor bugfixes, it fixes the small rocks collisions in Cave Trials.

I've had the rewards page open for the past 15 minutes while I was doing something else, and beyond the clock timer advancing it's merry way, response has been bupkis. Internet connection solid, no problems there.

The strange thing about this behavior is that when I first logged into Ironbound on PC with my MF credentials, the release version (1.2.99) of Eternium on my tablet had no problem registering that I had done so, and I received that first promo IB cape via Eternium in-game mail. So something was working with the release version of Eternium, but now isn't responding as expected with the 1.2.113 beta.

Hopefully there will be a solution to this glitch before time runs out (Oh, nos! ).

I think my beta version (1.2.113) behavior is significant with regard to the Ironbound awards, and wanted to give a heads-up on what I recently observed.

Trying to get Eternium to acknowledge my access with MF credentials via the "Play Ironbound" button in the rewards dialog box on Android 4.4.2 (Samsung Galaxy Tab 4). While Ironbound on my tablet still has glaring graphical and text errors, I was able to log in and play a few games since I knew what was supposed to be in the blank spots from my PC version play. One thing I hadn't done on previous attempts was have IB log into Google Play Games--I thought that perhaps this would be key in having Eternium register my accomplished milestones. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case: the Eternium rewards box still fails to register any of the milestones, and this is no matter how long I have left it open. The clock continues to count down, now at 12 days, 8 hours, 14 minutes (shades of Donny Darko).

This makes the reward box unresponsive to both PC and Android logins, and multiple uninstall/reinstall attempts have not altered that behavior. Please let me know if there is anything more I can attempt in the way of troubleshooting at my end. There is defintely something in my copy of the 1.2.113 beta that isn't operating as expected with regard to the reward box.

Many thanks for your continued work on Eternium. And I'm a player who is enthusiastic about story elements in adventure games, so more power to your efforts in that regard.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but to disparage Ironbound simply because elements of chance make up the game is, I feel, disingenuous at best. If a game with randoms isn't one's cup of tea, it would be more informative, I believe, to state that, rather than writing off a game as "trash." I personally find the battle system with tokens interesting in the element of chance it adds to strategy. As always, YMMV, but it would be cordial to allow others the opportunity to make their own evaluation of the game.
